Three things people don’t know about you?

I love having conversations with myself I can be alone in a room full of people and fade in and out. I cry a lot. I cry in the dark when watching a sad, emotional scene.

What’s your greatest fear?

Losing a loved one.

What is your greatest achievement?

My books, the stories I have written and the life I have lived so far.

High point of your life?

Seeing my baby for the first time.

Which living person do you most admire?

There are so many who inspire me; real life heroes, passionate about their work.

Who is your favorite fictional hero?

Moana- She believes in herself and goes against the world to do what she loves.

Who is your favorite fictional villain?

Megamind- He is a super-villain who out of boredom creates a hero who turns out to be a villain. So he is forced to become a hero to destroy him.

Who are your favorite authors?

Enid Blyton, Orhan Pamuk, Paulo Coelho, Milan Kundera, Sidney Sheldon, Agatha Christie, P.L Deshpande, Vrinda Karandikar.

What are your 5 favorite books of all time?

The Museum of Innocence by Orhan Pamuk has stayed with me for some reasons.

If you had a time machine to take you back to any country and any time period, where would you choose to be for your childhood, adolosent , adult life and silver years?

I would choose the mountains laden with snow, experience the crisp autumn, walk through the cobblestone path and sit by the brook lost in a book with a cup of coffee and loved one by my side.

If you could acquire any talent, what would it be?

To sing.

Which book you wish you had written ?

There are so many books of different genres which I wish I had written. Hard to mention a few.

When and where do you write ?

I write when inspiration strikes. I have written during my travels, in a coffee shop and in the comforts of my home by the window.

Oh! Freak, what the hell!

Do you have a writing ritual / superstition?

None! Thank God for that.

What’s your guilty reading pleasure?

Sizzling romance.

Do you have one sentence of advice for new writers?

Believe in yourself. Keep writing. Take criticism positively.
