Three things people don’t know about you?

I’m a Packaging & Printing Engineer from Mumbai University! It was in my second year of engineering that I wrote Rama’s musings. I’m also a big wrestling fan.

What’s your greatest fear?

I’m afraid of disappointing the people I love because of the choices I make.

What is your greatest achievement?

Publishing Rama’s Musings is my greatest achievement yet.

High point of your life?

Completing Engineering with a distinction, despite not having sailed through it.

Low point of your life

Losing my grandfather in 2015 was a low point.

Barrack Obama

Arjun, from Mahabharata

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Irvine Welsh are some of my favourite authors

What are your 5 favorite books of all time?

Mahabharata – C. Rajagopalachari, Filth – Irvine Welsh, The Idiot - Fyodor Dostoevsky, Sherlock Holmes - Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, The Seventh Secret – Irving Wallace.

Is there a book you love to reread?

I re-read the Mahabharata all the time and different versions of it.

What are your 5 favorite movies of all time?

Tropic Thunder, Trainspotting, Dallas Buyers Club, Mughal-E-Azam, Pink

Read minds

If you had a time machine to take you back to any country and any time period, where would you choose to be for your childhood, adolosent , adult life and silver years?

Definitely silver years. I’d love to see what life has in store for me then.

If you could acquire any talent, what would it be?

Lie like politicians

Which book you wish you had written ?

That’s a strange way to think of a book, I don’t think I’d like to have written a book that someone else wrote. It wouldn’t be the same then, obviously.

When and where do you write ?

I’m always writing. We’re all writers on cocaine; some of us just aren’t writing.

Do you have a writing ritual / superstition?

It’s too soon to have a ritual. Maybe after a decade or so?

What’s your guilty reading pleasure?

Occasionally, I read my horoscope in the paper to amuse myself.

Do you have one sentence of advice for new writers?

As a new writer myself, I’d say try not to find a style too soon.
