I am a big foodie. I enjoy hiking more than shopping. I have few good painting skills.

To not be able to become the best version of myself

What is your greatest achievement?

Every time I do something that breaks societal shackles is an achievement worth made.

High point of your life?

When I got my first scholarship in graduation for being top ranking student and I bought my mother a piece of clothing with it.

When my grandmother passed away.

My parents.

Charlie Brown. He never fails to bring positivity to me.

The power to be able to read minds.

In all the things that were lost or found, her perseverance is a story that continues to right her saying “everything is going to be just fine”.

If you had a time machine to take you back to any country and any time period, where would you choose to be for your childhood, adolosent , adult life and silver years?

I would either pick the 90’s when I was just a sugar huffed kid running in my grandma’s house making embarrassing memories or my college years when I had a clue of what was I doing or where my life was headed.

If you could acquire any talent, what would it be?

Do be the next Michelangelo and paint all kinds of beautiful nature sceneries of trees, waterfalls and mountains.

When and where do you write ?

Whenever my mind starts to holler all the crazy storylines and it is anywhere I can start typing at the earliest.

Silence or music?

It depends. At times I love a silent scene where I can think, feel or reminisce my old days. But at low points, I love blaring music to get rid of the demons of silence and to feel included in something beyond my lows.

One phrase that you use most often?

“Everything is going to be just fine”.

Do you have a writing ritual / superstition?

No, writing is one place where all my superstitions disappear. It is just me and a pen or nowadays a laptop keyboard

What’s your guilty reading pleasure?

Spy fiction all the way.

Do you have one sentence of advice for new writers?

Write what you feel and not what sells.

Before embarking on her writing career Pooja Soni has attained her master’s degree in the field of business administration and has done her bachelor in the field of information technology. Listening to her calling she wrote her first novel published under titled “Time in Love” at the age of 21. She lives in capital of India with her parents where she is working on her next novel.
