Three things people don’t know about you?

My life is open book. There's nothing I think people don't know about me.

What’s your greatest fear?

I fear only God, and nothing else can instill fear in me.

What is your greatest achievement?

I'm earnestly waiting for that precise moment when I feel I have achieved something that I would feel proud about.

High point of your life?

Moments that I have spent traveling and being tour guide to my mother while we visited places depicted in my first book. Those are the best memories that I have cherished forever and I know nothing else can overide them.

Low point of your life

When I lost my mother. She left a void in my life that I'm certain nothing on earth can fill it.

Which living person do you most admire?

I admire authors whose books I like to savour greedily - Dan Brown, Steve Berry, James Rollins, Raymond Khoury, Tom Knox.

Who is your favorite fictional hero?

Robert Langdon, Indian Jones, Cotton Malone.

Who is your favorite fictional villain?

Mogambo (Ambrish Puri). I love Bollywood movies. And I love Ambrish Puri for his voice, his screen presence that instilled goosebumps all throughout my childhood.

Who are your favorite authors?

Dan Brown, Steve Berry, James Rollins, Tom Knox, Raymond Khoury

What are your 5 favorite books of all time?

The Lost Symbol, Inferno, Origin, The Templar Legacy and The Name of the Rose.

Is there a book you love to reread?

There are, but many. To name a few, Sepulchre by Kate Mosse, The Jeffersons Key, The 14th Colony and The Omega Factor by Steve Berry

What are your 5 favorite movies of all time?

I love bollywood movies. Veer-Zaara, K3G, Dil To Pagal hai, DDLJ, Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein, Swades.

One Superpower you wish you had?

Remote viewing or ability to traverse across different time periods. I always wonder how ancient civilizations have flourished, their technologies, their uncanny wisdom with which they went onto to build some of the marvelous structure that are awe inspiring.

I will be back to continue where I left

If you had a time machine to take you back to any country and any time period, where would you choose to be for your childhood, adolosent , adult life and silver years?

It would defienitely be this lifetime itself. The childhood and the adolescent life I had in this lifetime is something I want to re-live over and again.

If you could acquire any talent, what would it be?

I think I'm already blessed with a talent that I want to bring it to perfection.

Which book you wish you had written ?

I'm yet to discover that book.

When and where do you write ?

I write at my desk and mostly during the night. That's when my mind is more productive and I'm in full control of it.

Silence or music?

I love silent music. Although it sounds paradoxical, but yes, Music can bring silence and harmony that has potential to sooth the frayed minds.

One phrase that you use most often?

Scientifically. As I always try to reason anything and everything from scientific perspective.

Do you have a writing ritual / superstition?

No. I don't believe in any writing ritual. It's all about how and when your pysche can be at its fullest potential to tap into.

What’s your guilty reading pleasure?

That I cannot read all the books on my TBR list.

Do you have one sentence of advice for new writers?

Have Perseverance and patience. Keep toiling and never give up.

Based in Bangalore, Navin Reuben, a graduate in Engineering works in a US based software firm. His keen interest to probe into the realms of the unknown and fiddle around with untold mysteries has led to the cornerstone for his first novel The Lost Arcanum.
