A purely nocturnal writer, I get started only after midnight – albeit with a cup of smoking hot coffee!

I write only after sundown.

A journalist who has spent his career collecting compelling stories across India, West Asia, Africa and Europe, Nadim Siraj currently works as Assistant Editor at Hindustan Times. He has also had spells at The Indian Express, The Statesman and Muscat Daily. He has travelled extensively to cover issues like the socioeconomic collapse of Greece, urban poverty in Kenya, life in pre-revolution Egypt, the post-Apartheid scene in South Africa and Nepalese life under Maoist control. Based in New Delhi NCR, he researches critical international issues and West Asian oil politics.
