What’s your greatest fear?

I am petrified of falling from great heights- both literally and metaphorically

What is your greatest achievement?

I don’t know about my achievements but I feel my readers are my greatest treasure.

Which living person do you most admire?

There are so many of them but if I have to name one it has to be Christopher Nolan, the filmmaker.

Who is your favorite fictional hero?

I am a superhero story-buff. Batman is my favorite superhero.

Who is your favorite fictional villain?

It has to be the Joker from the Dark Knight trilogy.

Who are your favorite authors?

Dan Brown, Sidney Sheldon, Jeffrey Archer… the list is endless

What are your 5 favorite books of all time?

The Da Vinci Code, The fault in our stars, If tomorrow comes, How to win friends and influence people, and my own book, HALF LIFE 

Is there a book you love to reread?

How to win friends and influence people by Dale Carnegie. It’s a great self-help book.

What are your 5 favorite movies of all time?

There are so many of them. The Dark Knight trilogy, Harry Potter series, Divergent series and in Bollywood, Kapoor and Sons and A Wednesday.

One Superpower you wish you had?

If I could do magic and spells like Harry Potter

If you had a time machine to take you back to any country and any time period, where would you choose to be for your childhood, adolosent , adult life and silver years?

Childhood in Mumbai (India), adolescence in NYC (USA), adulthood in LA (USA) and silver years in Switzerland.

If you could acquire any talent, what would it be?

Film-making like Christopher Nolan does it.

Which book you wish you had written ?

I guess Harry Potter. That was the story that made me wanna be a writer.

When and where do you write ?

I like to write at night in the comfort of my own bedroom.

Silence or music?

I am ambivert. So there are times when I love silence and there are days I prefer music.

One phrase that you use most often?

Writers have so many worlds hidden within them.

Do you have a writing ritual / superstition?

I don’t have any ritual but I am big on opening scenes/chapters of my stories. I take great care in making them as powerful as I possibly can.

What’s your guilty reading pleasure?

I love reading fast-paced thrillers which are a constant page-turner. Now, you know where does my influence of stories come from?!

Do you have one sentence of advice for new writers?

I’d say what one of my author friends from America said to me when I was beginning, write a story the way you want to hear one.
