Lina Kashyap is an educator, social worker, and grandmother with over five decades of experience in working with children across contexts—from classrooms to conflict zones. She is the founding Chairperson of the Centre for Disability Studies and Action at the School of Social Work, TISS Mumbai, and has dedicated her life to creating inclusive learning environments.
A self-styled interior designer, a closet artist who loves reinventing old art, and a passionate advocate for play-based learning, Lina brings wisdom, warmth, and lived experience to everything she writes. She still believes in the power of stories, games, and human connection—and yes, she reads her grandchildren’s books with childlike wonder.
