Childhood - USA, California in the modern age- Adolescent - Europe; Middle Ages as an explorer; Adult Life- with Persian poets in 1300's; Silver Years- Vedic age in India

Anytime and anywhere. It is a moment when I am able to connect to something more than an individual, an energy that runs in all of us

Kartikey Grover is a Consultant at a Big 4 Consulting firm living and working in New York City, New York, USA. He has grown up in India, Australia and California, USA.

Kartikey has had a curvy career trajectory which has given him a rich plethora of experiences. Though initially accepted at medical school in India, he pursued engineering from IIT Ropar, India, and a double masters from Stony Brook university receiving a Research Fellowship as well as from Cornell University and is now aiming for an MBA here itself. He has published several original research papers in world renowned science journals and has a patent in the field of Biomechanical design.

His best qualities are a strong emotional quotient combined with a deep sense of empathy which he attributes to his parents. Spirituality and a sense of belongingness are a deep theme throughout his poems. He finds this either in nature or small human emotions the poet picks up in his daily life. Kartikey's poems are heavy on personification.

Kartikey also plays professional pool for American Pool Association and has competed in American Pool Association Nationals in Las Vegas, 2023. He likes to volunteer with Senior citizens in New York every week. On the side he likes to strum and practice guitar along with locals at NYC Guitar school every now and then in the style of blues and rock.
