Born in Cuttack, Odisha, Ishita is an IIT Roorkee alumna who currently works with Amazon. During the day, she works on solving customer problems. At night, she dons her author cap, puts pen to paper, and transforms her thoughts into words. Reading is her go-to therapy and being lost in those pages of a novel is her happy space. When she is not reading or writing, she loves to travel, meet new people who eventually end up becoming characters in her stories. Her work draws from the lives of countless inspiring people who have left an indelible impact on her. Outside the literary space, she is a trained belly dancer and a voracious foodie. While her profession has placed her in Singapore, her heart, mind, and soul wander across the beautiful states and cities of India.
