i) I’m a romantic at heart ii) I write violent novels but actually abhor violence iii) I have mild acrophobia.

What’s your greatest fear?

That I’ll never achieve everything I want to!

What is your greatest achievement?

Honestly, it’s being as good a father as I can be to my two wonderful daughters!

High point of your life?

Many high points but the most recent was when my classic Alfa Romeo unexpectedly won first in class at The 21 Gun Salute Concours & Rally 2018 in Delhi!

Low point of your life

There’s a really low point but it’s too private to make public!

Which living person do you most admire?

The common man, who soldiers on uncomplaining and without any credit for doing the best he can in this competitive and difficult world.

Who is your favorite fictional hero?

Sean Dillon, Mitch Rapp, James Bond and a few others.

Who is your favorite fictional villain?

Hans Stavro Blofeld and more recently Thanos.

Who are your favorite authors?

Jack Higgins, Ian Fleming, Vince Flyn, David Baldacci, Frederick Forsyth.

What are your 5 favorite books of all time?

The Five Findouter series by Enid Blyton, All Sean Dillon books, David Baldacci’s The Camel Club series to name a few. I can’t really restrict my choice to five books.

Is there a book you love to reread?

Normally not but very often I reread a book I’ve read many years ago.

What are your 5 favorite movies of all time?

Enter The Dragon, Where Eagles Dare, Murder To The Tune Of Seven Black Notes, Sound Of Music & Roman Holiday.

One Superpower you wish you had?

Invisibility!

Your epitaph would read? /Last line in your biography would be?

Here lies a man who gave life his best! Last line of biography – There really was nothing left for him to achieve so he moved on to another world to try his luck!

If you had a time machine to take you back to any country and any time period, where would you choose to be for your childhood, adolosent , adult life and silver years?

Childhood – 1990s USA, Adolescent – 1950s USA, Adult Life – 1960s England, Silver Years, 2010 Mumbai.

If you could acquire any talent, what would it be?

To sing and dance at international standards!

Which book you wish you had written ?

I wrote the book I wanted to!

When and where do you write ?

I normally write when I’m traveling for work or when I’m alone away from any distractions.

Silence or music?

I think a lot wherever I am, so silence definitely is important to me, however when I’m done thinking, I like listening to ABBA, Neil Diamond, pop, rock and rock n roll music!

One phrase that you use most often?

Oh Heck!

Do you have a writing ritual / superstition?

I try not to get caught in any kind of superstition or ritual as I believe that severely restricts your ability to do anything.

What’s your guilty reading pleasure?

Classic car magazines.

Do you have one sentence of advice for new writers?

Never regret not writing the book you always wanted to! Just make the effort and go the whole way! I advised a dear friend to do this and she has now written two books, both of which have been published by Leadstart!

I live in South Mumbai with my wife and two daughters. I am a businessman whose business interests span export, import of a variety of automotive and engineering products and consultancy services. I collect Oriental and European porcelain. My passion is classic cars of which I have a few. I adore dogs and love all animals. I am sports crazy and follow many sports. I have played various sports competitively and currently keep fit by playing badminton on a fairly regular basis. I run a large Public Charitable Trust as a trustee. I am currently working on my next novel which is based on a major international incident.
