I’m a teetotaler. I can transgress my anger very well. I didn’t write anything before writing the first book.

Becoming a lesser popular writer and author, having a zero impact on the society

The day I received Literary Achievement Award after publishing the first book,

It’s to be the day when my name appeared on the first page of national newspaper regarding an achievement in a competition

Don Vito Corleone and Michael Corleone from The Godfather series are my favourite heroes.

Who is your favorite fictional villain?

Moriarty from Sherlock Holmes

My favourite authors are Shivaji Sawant, V S Khandekar, Acharya Are and Mahatma Gandhi

Writing 200 pages daily for 50 years

If you had a time machine to take you back to any country and any time period, where would you choose to be for your childhood, adolosent , adult life and silver years?

I’d choose to spend my childhood in Gokul/Vrindavan, adolescent in Mathura, adult life in Dwarka and silver years in Himalaya.

If you could acquire any talent, what would it be?

Acting, yes, I’d like to acquire it someday.

Which book you wish you had written ?

The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini

When and where do you write ?

I write most of the time. In journals, diaries, notebooks. On Quora, personal blog, of course, when I’m home.

Depends on the mindset

Don’t bind yourself in the cycle of Karma.

What’s your guilty reading pleasure?

I like reading anything, means anything.

Do you have one sentence of advice for new writers?

Write 20 pages daily, write anything for 1 year.

Akshat Solanki, 20-years-old, spends most of his time learning about his family business. He wants to pursue an MBA from one of the top universities in the world after graduation from NMIMS University, where he is currently studying to become an engineer. He aspires to become a successful combination of an innovator and an entrepreneur. He likes reading novels, writing, going to the gym, cycling, travelling and discussing social issues with friends.
